Located off the Pacific Coast and reached only by a liveaboard, Cocos is an adrenaline-pumping experience with schooling hammerheads and other big fish action not to be missed. Schooling sharksMalpelo Island is an isolated seamount with sheer cliffs surrounded by a dozen satellite rocks. The island was once ten times as large but the unrelenting waves have taken their toll on the 20 million year old volcanic rock. Malpelo area is defined by its isolation and by its location in the intersection of several marine currents.

The fertile waters bring in marine mammals including humpback and blue whales, over 400 species of fish, 340 species of molluks, both marine and terrestial reptiles and 60 species of birds. Apart from Cocos, there's no other place in the world where you can encounter such huge schools of hammerhead and silkie sharks.  Read more

Mexico - Giant Mantas of Socorro

Dive and interact with the friendliest giant mantas in the world. At Socorro, these giants choose to interact with divers. They come in very close, sometimes less than one meter, make eye contact and then swim along beside you - the interaction is totally on their terms. It is very likely that bottlenose dolphins will also move in close and interact with divers during your trip.

Shark sightings are also very good at Socorro Island with common sightings of silky, galapagos, hammerhead, white tip and silver tip sharks. Humpback whale sightings and whale sharks are possible in season from November to March.  Read more

There are some areas where soft corals and sea fans dominate, others with amazing diverse hard corals, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, drop offs, caves, black sand, white sand … then there are the fish, lots of them, in more shapes and sizes than anywhere else in the world.

Not only are there loads of fish, but also all the levels of the food chain are well represented – from pygmy seahorses to top predators. In many places brightly colored soft corals can be found close to the surface which, illuminated by natural sunlight, make these dive sites spectacularly colorful. Indonesia - Komodo onboard the Pindito

The dive sites here offer an incredible variety of dives. From the rarest macro creatures on a leisurely dive to manta rays and large schools of fish on a fast-paced drift dive - it's all here. You can find over 1,000 species of fish in these waters, 260 species of reef corals, 70 different sponges, 17 species of whales and dolphins and two species of sea turtles.

The tour starts in Bali and leads through the middle of the Komodo National Park, passing by the island Sangeang. Most of the time is spent around the islands of Banta, Komodo and Rinca. You also visit the smaller islands of Gili Lawa Laut and Tatawa Besar. The ship does a final stop at the island of Moyo, before heading back to Bali.  Read more
