Kenya Masai Mara Safari Camps
Masai Mara National Reserve is part of a huge conservation area that also includes Serengeti National Park in Kenya and Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania. Wildlife move freely throughout the area and from August to October, with the Great Migration taking place with large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, kongoni and topi. Other animals in this verdant park include elephant, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, lion and cheetah, six species of primates and 450 species of birds. Leopard and serval are frequently encountered, and endangered black rhino can be spotted in the dense bush and large crocodiles in the Mara River.
