Manta Ray Bay is the premier dive resort in Yap, designed by divers and built for divers. All dive facilities are located within steps from the hotel. The comfortable and friendly hotel features three stories and 35 uniquely decorated ocean-themed rooms in three different categories. The 13 standard rooms face the hillside and offer one or two queen-size beds. 17 oceanview rooms have views over the water and also one or two queen-size beds. The five deluxe oceanview rooms have the best views, one king-size bed each and the most lavish décor. One of the deluxe oceanview rooms has a private rooftop jacuzzi and two have private plunge pools. All rooms, regardless of category, have private bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, televisions with DVD players, hairdryers, internet access, telephones, safes and potable water. Minibars are available upon request.

The award-winning Yap Divers is Yap’s first PADI 5-star facility. Over fifty dive sites, many of the discovered by Yap Divers, await you in the clear waters. Yap Divers offers a full range of PADI courses and Nitrox. Manta Ray Bay has a pool and a brand-new spa with relaxation and rejuvenation treatments based on local plants. For meals, step up to the Mnuw, a Phinisi schooner docked by the resort. The Mnuw has three dining decks and two bars serving all meals from breakfast to late night snacks. The upper deck bar is the favorite gathering spot after the day’s last dive. The resort’s tour desk can arrange snorkeling trips, kayaking excursions, hiking, fishing and island tours showcasing the fascinating culture of Yap.
