Polar Bear Photo Expedition - Canada
The expedition timing is designed to maximize encounters with three big animals of the arctic: polar bears roaming the pack ice searching seals to feed their new families, and narwals and bowhead whales taking advantage of breaking ice to swim through passages. Humpback Whales Photo Expedition – Tonga
Slip into the balmy waters of Tonga and photograph the majestic blue whales as they breed, give birth, nurse their young and compete for mates. Witness the impressive feat of forty ton male breeching out of the water and splashing back into it with a show of force meant to impress the females. Or the slightly less impressive youngsters practicing their breeching. Blue whale expeditions are for snorkelers and free divers only, no tanks are used so that the whales are comfortable in our presence. Great White Shark Photo Expedition – Mexico
Guadalupe’s great white shark encounters are legendary and now you can join in and help research these magnificent creatures. Board the Sea Escapes in Ensenada and travel in comfort to the island. Sailfish Photo Expedition – Mexico
Witness the mad rush of dozens of sailfish assailing a bait ball of sardines measuring up to 75 feet in diameter – this is fast action photography in clear blue waters! The sardines move in fluid motion, recouping after each attack. The sailfish herd the school skillfully and in the end, the hungry sailfish will win. The cooperative hunting phenomenon is very unusual and normally only seen done by dolphins and whales.
