CocoView Resort & Playa Miguel Beach Houses
CocoView Resort, a favorite Caribbean dive spot, is located on Roatán Island, the largest of the Bay Islands. There are 26 rooms built right on the water’s edge or directly over the shallows. Playa Miguel beach houses are located within a short walk from the resort, and feature two- and three-bedroom properties, all with private bathrooms, full kitchens, porches and lots of amenities. All houses are different and feature tropical furnishings.
Activities at the resort include scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and lazing around in the sun. If you feel you must, there’s a fitness center with a full set of equipment. A spa offers massages and beauty treatments. Every day, a different local artist arrives with handmade crafts for sale, and there’s a weekly music night with a local band. The resort also arranges trips to the mainland for Mayan ruins, zipline rides and other excursion. CocoView’s diving starts right at the house reef with CocoView Wall, Newman’s Wall and the purpose-sunk wreck of Prince Albert. This is also a fantastic snorkeling location. The four 50-foot dive boats take you further sites, snorkelers are welcome onboard.
